Journey Gatherings

Into the unknown. Not alone.

Journey Gatherings are for illness, grief, recovery, provision, divorce, waiting, or any hard season that needs prayer and practical care over time.

How This Gathering Fits

A hard season can have witnesses.

Some seasons are too tender for a campaign and too ongoing for a single prayer request. A Journey Gathering gives one person, family, or hard season a place to keep praying, posting updates, remembering mercy, and inviting trusted people to stay near.

You can invite people to contribute to your Journey Gathering. Only invited people can offer prayer videos to your gathering. But you can set the gathering to private so only invited people can follow the journey, or you can set it to public so anyone who feels stirred by your journey can follow all the prayers there.

Use the outside help URL when there is one practical next step: a Meal Train, fundraiser, care calendar, CaringBridge page, wishlist, or other reviewed link where people can help without turning the gathering into a transaction.

Best for
  • Illness, recovery, grief, divorce, provision, and family care.
  • Friends and family who need one careful place to return.
  • Updates, prayers, thanks, and hard honest moments while the story is still unfolding.
  • Journeys that need one reviewed link for practical help, meals, giving, updates, or care coordination.
Boundary

The person is the center.

A Journey can invite help, but it should not become a campaign, fundraiser, or organization-owned effort. Keep the gathering centered on prayer, testimony, and care for the person or season.
